<div>This will be my second challenge with ICT (I took part in Cycle Cambodia in 2006) and my first as a patron for the charity. &nbsp;Like last time, I am excited to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity, whose work I believe in with all my heart. &nbsp;ICT are so direct in the way they use the money we raise to help out local initiatives in Africa and Asia and choose projects that are actively looking to change the experience of children and their families in these poverty stricken communities. &nbsp;I also believe in a personal commitment when fundraising, using our bodies and minds to raise awareness for a cause that makes a difference to the lives of many. The easiest way to do this is to create a profile  on the Trek Kerala website. To do this just follow these easy <a href="/Handlers/Download.ashx?IDMF=79653318-15ab-4fce-98fd-99e7d1a6db19">instructions</a>.  It is important to do this as soon as you sign up so that your friends  and family can start donating straight away. The c<span>rawl had&nbsp;a $40.00 entrance fee raising about $2000&nbsp;as there were 55-60 people that&nbsp;attended.</span> Tatum&nbsp;sold additional raffle tickets throughout the crawl, to raise that much more money.

They keep one half and you put the other in a container. &nbsp;When the deck is all bought out, you blindly pick from the ripped halves. <p>Fundraising doesn't have to be all about organising events that bring in large amounts of money at one time, smaller events are just as important, especially when you hold several of them. <br /><br />Mary Osbourne proved this when raising money for one of our challenge events in 2011. Mary raised over &pound;450 holding 5 jumble and car boot sales through which each one raised between &pound;80 and &pound;120. Events like these are easy to do and the great thing about them is there aren't any costs. All you need to do is encourage family and friends to donate any of those unworn clothes at the back of their wardrobes,&nbsp;Christmas presents they're&nbsp;never going to use&nbsp;or anything they've been hanging onto for years in the hope that it might come back into fashion. Ask for a suggested donation of between &pound;20 and &pound;30 per guest and invite as many people as you feel comfortable cooking for. One of our challenge participants in 2011, found this a "successful and extremely enjoyable way of fundraising". She invited 12 guests to a Mexican feast complete with sombreros and plenty of tequila! Her guests all had such a great night that they were more than happy to donate well above the suggested amount, resulting in over &pound;300 being raised. He tells us he is keen not to stop at the &pound;5,000 mark and will fundraise for as long and as hard as he can, which is really great news.<br /><br />In February 2012, Manish and three friends will be traveling to Nepal to trek to Everest Base Camp and also summit the nearby peak of Kala Pattar. He claims neither the lack of training nor the fundraising targets scare him, but camping in freezing conditions is a different story!<br /><br />Facebook has been great in helping him contact friends and family and convincing them to support him.<br />&ldquo;But I&rsquo;m also sending lots of emails and JustGiving makes it so easy for people to donate.
